Responsibilities:
• Develop & execute the overall Consumer strategy within the US Distributor and Direct business, to enable Shell to deliver its accelerated growth aspirations. • With support from the broader Do-It-For-Me (DIFM) Team, develop clear, concise sector strategies in the USA to drive growth through marketing strategies and supporting initiatives and activities demonstrating the value of our brands, products, people and Customer Value Propositions (CVPs). Sector CVPs must show the ability to build revenue and increase profits for both Shell and the customer. • Participate in regular Sales Pipeline reviews with sales counterpart to identify areas where Marketing can support improving overall Pipeline performance (generate qualified leads, cycle time, hit rate etc.). • Work closely with the overall DIFM Team to ensure Shell has the right product portfolio and pricing strategy, including effective Cost of Goods Sold (COGS) for products that are key to winning in the respective sectors. Analyze Up-Sell data, develop strategies to grow premiums & OW's.
• Keep a continuous focus on innovation. Work closely with the Services Marketing Manager and Portfolio & Innovations Manager, to ensure we're continuously innovating with our offers. • Work closely with the Distributor Marketing team to ensure sector strategies and supporting programs are fit-for-purpose across channels. • Consumer Marketing Manager at Shell requires strong leadership and collaboration with various roles with NA Lubricants Marketing and Sales along with other groups including Lubricant Supply Chain (LSC). • Work with internal stakeholders (e.g., Sales, Marketing, Technical, LSC) to lead the development of sector strategies and supporting CVPs, tools, programs. Communicate to sales organization so they are clear on their role, how to sell CVPs etc. • Lead the implementation, tracking, measuring of specific initiatives and activities designed to grow in these sectors. Develop communications for senior management on the progress of these sector strategies / major initiatives and recommend areas of improvement. • Work with the B2B Marketing lead in the Distributor Marketing team to drive execution of the respective sector strategies in the Distributor channel. • Develop insights and recommendations for improving business sector performance through shared responsibility (along with Sales), including evaluation of the relevance and execution of CVPs, and benchmarking the product mix and price positioning. • Participate in various Sales team meetings to discuss sector strategies, train Key Account Managers (KAMs) and Field Based Account Managers (FBAMs) on Shell's various CVPs and programs and how to identify customer needs and develop winning offers.
