About The Faculty of Arts, Asia Institute The Asia Institute is The University of Melbourne's key centre for studies in Asian languages, cultures and societies. About the role The Administrative Officer assists in the operational needs of the Asia Institute by providing high level business support for the Institute and for delivering a highly professional linkage between the Director of the Asia Institute, School Manger, staff, students, visitors and external clients. Responsible for a number of high quality business support services such as executive support to the Director, providing administrative and operational support services to committees, coordination of events and functions and the management of OH&S requirements within the Asia Institute. About you The incumbent will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and the ability to balance priorities and competing demands in a busy and changing organisational environment.
