Specialized experience for this position includes: • *- Experience in working and maintaining data quality in an ISO accredited analytical laboratory. OR You may substitute education for specialized experience as follows: Two full years of graduate education or a master's degree directly related to the work of the position. OR Combination of Experience and Education. To combine education and experience, the total percentage of experience at the required grade level compared to the requirement, as well as the percentage of completed education compared to the requirement must equal at least 100 percent. Only graduate level education in excess of the first 18 semester hours (27 quarter hours) may be combined to be considered for qualifying education.** • *Specialized experience:** For the **GS-7**, you must have one year of specialized experience at a level of difficulty and responsibility equivalent to the **GS-6** grade level in the Federal service. Specialized experience for this position is defined as assisting chemists or performing routine laboratory work. Examples of such experience include:** • Using a computerized database to enter, retrieve and/or manipulate laboratory data; OR • Assisting with compliance and quality assurance testing in a chemical laboratory; OR • Assisting with maintaining the technical records for quality programs. OR You may substitute education for specialized experience as follows: One full year of graduate education directly related to the work of the position. OR You may qualify on a combination of education and experience.
