Job Summary: Develops institutional reports and performs analytical studies that support and facilitate the planning, policy development, and decision-making activities of the College. Campus: Conference Center Classification: Administrative Position Type: Full-time Curricular: If Faculty, Contract Length: Job Code Number: 4490F-01-19 Minimum Qualifications: Master's degree required (or Bachelor's degree with equivalent experience) in Statistics, Social Sciences, Educational Research or an equivalent combination of education and experience from which comparable knowledge and abilities can be acquired. Three years of experience interacting with administrative computing systems and large scale databases requiring evidence of mastery in research and quantitative analysis. Experience using personal computers including database (Access), spreadsheet (Excel, statistical e.g., SPSS) and word processing (Microsoft Word) software. Experience performing complex analytical/statistical research analyses, modeling, and associated report preparations. Excellent interpersonal and oral/written communication skills. Demonstrated ability to utilize discretion in releasing confidential information. Demonstrated self-motivation and strong organizational skills. Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively across cultural boundaries and work with diverse groups of students, faculty and staff. Preferred Qualifications: Experience working in an academic environment; experience with technical and functional aspects of Cognos preferred.
