Financial Institutions Examiner specifically for trust operations of state chartered institutions. The chosen candidate will be mentored by experienced examiners. Examinations are performed on location at state chartered trust companies and banks, providing the examiner with an opportunity to travel throughout Pennsylvania. Travel expenses will be paid Serve as an assistant examiner on a team performing examinations of trust operations at state chartered institutions. Examinations are necessary to ensure that the trust company/trust department is operating in a safe and sound manner and in compliance with established laws, rules and regulations in protection of its members. During the examination, you would perform a variety of tasks such as reviewing/analyzing financial statements, trust accounts, internal and external audits, policies and procedures, and completing comments for the report of examination. You would also participate in presenting examination findings to the institution's management team and board of directors. In addition to your role in the examination, you would also attend state and federal training programs designed to further develop your skills and examination techniques. In addition, the candidate must exhibit strong verbal and written communication skills and be able to understand and apply laws, rules and regulations.
