The Administrative Specialist III will coordinate faculty programs, such as promotion and tenure, preliminary (3rd year) reviews, Non-tenure Eligible (NTE) advancement, annual reviews and activity reports for faculty and staff. This position will also provide supervision to administrative support staff within the department. The successful candidate will have effective management and organizational skills, the ability to work well with a diverse population, and the ability to communicate effectively. Required Education and Experience Bachelor's degree and 2 years of related experience; OR a combination of education and/or related experience totaling 6 years. Experience must be at a comparable level and directly related to the duties of this position. Supplemental Required Education and Experience Preferred Education and Experience Experience in a complex administrative setting providing support to a senior/executive level administrator. Experience working with confidential and proprietary information. Experience coordinating meetings, projects, events, travel, conferences and calendars/multiple schedules. Experience with ISU policies and procedures, especially as they relate to faculty (e.g., advancement and review processes, hiring processes). Experience supervising staff.
