Responsible to perform revenue and expenditure monitoring, analysis and forecasting, coordinate and maintain accounting and reporting systems for revenues and expenditures, research, compile and
interpret financial, accounting, legislative and policy information and assist in developing budget requests for the IT and Departmental Administration Section as they relate to the Department's $500M plus information technology budget which includes systems such as the Eligibility and Enrollment System (MiBRIDGES/BRIDGES), Michigan Medicaid Information System (CHAMPS), Michigan Child Support and Enforcement System (MiCSES), and Michigan Statewide Administrative Child Welfare Information System (MiSACWIS) and their respective Advanced Planning Documents (APDs). This position is the liaison between Budget and the Bureau of IT Support Services. Position DescriptionEducation Possession of a bachelor's degree in any major with at least 24 semester (36 term) credits in accounting, finance, and economic courses. Experience Four years of professional experience equivalent to a Financial Analyst; including two years equivalent to a Financial Analyst P11 or one year equivalent to a Financial Analyst 12. Possession of a Certificate in Public Accounting (CPA) may be substituted for one year of Financial Analyst P11 experience.
