The Field Office Support Unit is an extremely busy telephone unit, seeking an individual with exceptional patience, strong work ethic, and ready to provide quality customer service to the public and field offices. Under the direction of the Manager I, formulate accurate responses to telephone inquiries for technical procedural guidance to resolve difficult vehicle/vessel registration (VR) problems. Apply/interpret provisions of the vehicle code, administrative regulations, policies and procedures pertaining to VR and ownership. Review/interpret difficult task independently for effective resolution. Must possess strong interpersonal skills, PC skills, effective written/oral communication and effectively work with public, peers and management. Other duties as required.
