This vacancy is for a Recruiter position in the Chicago Regional Office located in Oak Brook, IL. Learn more about this agency Responsibilities Develop, organize, manage and implement the recruitment program, activities and function of the Schedule A employees of the Regional Office. Develop a strategic plan for recruitment programs, operations, and goals for the Regional Office. Conduct or participate in group recruiting sessions. Analyze and monitor progress, performance and cost data of a recruitment program to ensure recruitment operations are within specified time limits and budget constraints. With a Mixed Tour work schedule, an employee may be changed between full-time, part-time and intermittent work schedules to accommodate fluctuating workloads and is subject to a signed agreement. Specialized Experience: For the GG-11, you must have one year of experience at a level of difficulty and responsibility equivalent to the GS-09 in the Federal service. Experience for this position includes: developing a recruitment plan to meet staffing requirements; identifying recruitment sources to generate a diverse pool of applicants; developing recruitment material; developing, preparing and maintaining recruitment program files and reports. OR Ph.D. or equivalent doctoral degree; or three full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such a degree; or LL.M., if related. For GG-12, you must have one year of experience at a level of difficulty and responsibility equivalent to the GS-11 grade level in the Federal service. Experience for this position includes developing and implementing a recruitment plan to meet staffing requirements; identifying recruitment sources to generate a diverse pool of applicants; developing recruitment material; developing, preparing, monitoring, and maintaining recruitment program files and reports; and implementing cost-effective procedures. Education cannot be substituted for experience at this grade level. Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community, student, social).
