While in training, you will work alongside auditors, in the office and at a taxpayer's location, gathering preliminary information, contacting taxpayers to schedule audits, assisting in the pre-audit conference, examining and analyzing financial records to determine compliance and assisting in preparing the final audit package and report, and conducting the post-audit conference. This position will require you to travel to audit sites within the Commonwealth and you will also be required to travel out-of-state for audits.
