This position will provide administrative support and duties will include but are not limited to: establishing and maintaining files for administrative correspondence; typing; distributing and tracking correspondence; receiving mail and telephone messages; completing various DPS forms and reports; assisting with Correctional Officer interviews and package preparation; and other duties assigned by the Administrative Services Manager. Management Preference: Preference will be given to applicants with DPS personnel experience Knowledge, Skills and Abilities / Competencies Listed below are the knowledge, skills, and abilities (KSAs) associated with this position. These KSAs, along with the minimum education and experience listed, are required in order to be deemed 'eligible' for the position. You must demonstrate through documented experience or provide supporting information within the body of your application to demonstrate your possession of ALL KSAs listed. • Documented proficiency in Microsoft Office programs * Minimum Education And Experience Requirements High school or General Educational Development (GED) diploma and one year of administrative experience; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
