South Carolina Department of Natural Resources is looking for an experienced Videographer to film PSAs, educational videos, web and social media content to promote SCDNR's mission. They will assist the video department with all needs relating to media including covering DNR events, editing video content, and providing A/V support. This position will occasionally be required to work evenings and weekends. Must have a bachelor's degree and at least one year of professional video experience. Must love working in the outdoors. Prefer knowledge of Adobe Premiere, Sony XD Cam, Go Pro and Nikon DSLR's. A bachelor's degree and two (2) years of related experience.At least one (1) year of professional video production experience. Knowledge of journalistic practices and techniques of disseminating information to the public through news media. Knowledge of grammar, composition and style. Knowledge of advanced videography, including a knowledge of the methods and techniques used in planning writing, editing and producing media, as well as a knowledge of current video editing platforms. Knowledgeable in the operation of digital video cameras and equipment, non-linear editing systems and DSLRs. Experience in script writing preferred. Specific knowledge of Sony cameras, GoPro, drones, Adobe Premiere and Nikon DSLR
