**Job Duties::** As a Marketing Communications Manager working on the Marketing team, you will be empowered and inspired to do your best work. In a typical day, you will: • Manage the advertising, marketing communications, and trade marketing budgets; control budget plans vs. actual expenses including production costs. • Ensure that products are advertised in accordance with budget objectives to obtain maximum exposure, profitability and sales volume. • Determine internal staffing requirements and organizational structure. • Manage direct reports towards attainment of brand marketing objectives. • Maintain effective staffing, utilization and needs assessment of projects and balancing the workload of staff. • Coach, mentor and provide professional development opportunities. • Develop strategic brand advertising and marketing communications plans based on industrial's marketing and sales objectives including new product launches, promotions and brand messaging for the Americas. • Manage day-to-day agency relationships and coordinates with internal departments to execute key marketing goals and objectives. • Ensure positive agency/vendor relationships and output. • Manage all agency/ outside vendor creative development and production to enhance Olympus' brand and product sales. • Manage development and creative production of all externally produced product, lifestyle and brand photography and video. • Work with agency to develop appropriate media mix based on customer history, budget and business objectives. • Manage all paid social media advertising to enhance the brand, build our communities and promote our products, promotions and ultimately help drive sales. • Collaborate closely with Manager, PR, Social and Sponsorships to ensure alignment of paid social media activities with organic social media activities. • Review all content sent out by Industrial business for brand and messaging consistency. • Manage the development, execution and performance of all brand marketing programs designed to increase brand presence; develop and provide consistent analytics that focus the organization on critical key performance indicators as it relates to brand spending and pricing. • Ensure alignment across the Sales and Marketing organizations on America's sales needs and marketing initiatives. • Establish and maintain marketing roadmap; coordinate event timing with advertising to maximize impact of promotions. • Implement, monitor and continuously improve processes to link all marketing and sales activities, working closely with Sales, Product and Vertical Marketing teams to build brand presence and promotions through sales activities. • Create e-mail campaigns and manage clear messages at tradeshow. • Perform all other related duties as assigned. • *Job Requirements::** • *REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:** • Bachelor's Degree in marketing, advertising or similar field of study or equivalent work experience is required. • Minimum 7 years' experience in corporate marketing communications and/or advertising managing outside agencies and/or account management experience at an advertising agency. • Domestic & international travel ~25%. • *PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:** • Master's Degree is a plus. • Creative production experience managing email campaign, brochure design, infographic design.
