Qualifications Specialized Experience: For the GS-14, you must have one year of experience at a level of difficulty and responsibility equivalent to the GS-13 in the Federal service. Experience for this position includes: supervision and resource management at a level that involves making major decisions and taking actions that have a direct and substantial effect on an organization; participating in conferences, meetings, hearings, or presentations involving problems or issues of considerable consequence or importance to the program managed; authorizing the purchase of new equipment; overseeing the development of technical data, estimates, statistics, and other information useful to higher level managers in determining which goals to emphasize; assigning and reviewing work daily, weekly, or monthly to assure that production and accuracy requirements are met. For all positions individuals must have IT-related experience demonstrating each of the four competencies listed below.
