Position Summary PASS Camp Front Desk Staff are responsible for providing front line customer service to campers and their families, and assisting Coordinators and the Youth Activities Manager in all registration and administrative tasks. Front Desk Staff are also responsible for the assisting in the management of daily camp operations including medication administration, disciplinary procedures, record keeping, and communication.
Essential Functions • Provide front line customer service for families during check in and check out processes • Assist families in all registration procedures including adding weeks of camp, moving weeks of camp, and updating emergency information • Update and input all camper documentation into online camper profiles • Make courtesy calls to families about upcoming programming, camper information that needs updated, and other related camp information • Attend and participate in staff meetings and training sessions • Respond to participant questions and comments • Provide excellent customer service to all Ritchie Center guests • Maintain a general knowledge of youth programs • Additional duties as assigned Knowledge, Skills and Abilities • Interest and experience coaching children 5-11 years old • Experience working with recreation data systems (rectrac or other) • Experience working in a camp setting • Ability to work effectively in the department • Ability to be flexible and adaptable • Ability to work independently and as part of a team Required Qualifications • Ability to PASS State and Federal Background Checks • Current CPR & First Aid Certification, or ability to complete training prior to start of camp • Ability to complete all online and in person training prior to camp start date • Ability to attend mandatory staff training May 20th-26th • Availability to work throughout summer May 20th-August 23rd Preferred Qualifications • High School diploma & some college experience • Previous work experience in a licensed childcare facility • Experience in customer service • Experience with conflict management Work Schedule Monday - Friday, between the hours of 7 a.m. - 6 p.m. Exact work schedule to be determined with supervisor.
