Overview / Responsibilities Wood is currently seeking a Wells Engineering Technician II to add to their team in Kenedy, TX. Authorization to work permanently in the U.S. without sponsorship required. Responsibilities Include, But Not Limited To • Responsible for daily QA/QC of operational time and cost code reporting as well as non-operated offset historical performance analysis. • Assist the engineering staff in providing complete and through offset research to identify in advance any potential operational problems. • Develop and maintain a common network directory for storing offset research for the engineering team. • Compile information for problem area maps to identify issues that occurred in offset wells. • Working from existing drilling templates, prepare and/or assist engineering staff in preparation of
programs and wellbore diagrams. • Assist in completing cost estimates and supplemental cost estimates. • Assisting in completing surface casing check sheets and ground water database searches. • Ensuring that all Operated and Non-Operated information is captured and filed in the MDS system. • Compile drilling data and analyze to assist engineering staff in optimizing wells, post well reviews and End of Well Reports in Well View. • Provide assistance in special projects and data analysis. Retrieve and provide cost data from Wellview and SAP so that it can be analyzed. • Take an active role in well analysis for performance trends, technology applications, lessons learned, and key drivers that give unique advantage opportunities. • Assist engineering staff in creating monthly/quarterly reviews. Skills / Qualifications • High School diploma or equivalent • 3-5 years of relevent experience • General working knowledge of specific systems, terminology and procedures used within the department. • Ability to solve problems and make basic decisions Company Overview Wood is a global leader in the delivery of project, engineering and technical services to energy and industrial markets.
