The ideal candidate is able to follow internal processes and guidelines; is able to work in a fast-paced environment; and demonstrates clear and concise writing skills with the ability to communicate effectively to a variety of audiences. Responsibilities Of The Position Include • Enter contract information accurately in to ProTrack to ensure spots air properly, and safeguard accuracy of client billing. • Prepare contracts and proposals for sales staff utilizing preexisting templates. • Work with traffic and programming to schedule underwriting and sponsorships. • Track copy and communicate due dates to clients. • Responsible for organization and maintenance of client files. • Work with other WKAR staff members to communication website changes and social media updates. • Provide administrative support for Director of Corporate Partnerships and Corporate Marketing & Sales Representative. • Write effective underwriting messages while following FCC, NPR, PBS and WKAR guidelines. • Perform other duties as assigned by the Director of Corporate Partnerships. • Schedule meetings and maintain Google docs and underwriting calendars. Unit Specific Education/Experience/Skills Knowledge normally acquired in the first two or three years in college, technical, vocational or business school such as an Associate’s Degree in Business with coursework appropriate to the employing unit; six months to one year of related and progressively more responsible or expansive work experience in sales and marketing strategies related to the employing unit; booking meetings, events and/or similar unit functions; and department operations; or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Desired Qualifications A bachelor's degree is preferred. Experience with Michigan State University's EBS systems. Experience with ProTrack software.
