The website and content management systems are hosted on two third party platforms, Blackbaud Internet Solutions and a Drupal 7 multi-site application. The Universityrsquos alumnidonor online community is a collaborative effort among major FSU stakeholders including the FSU Foundation, Alumni Association, Seminole Boosters, and the Ringling Museum. The individual selected for this role will be a subject matter expert for this group, and is responsible for coordinating and implementing best practices. Training of various stakeholders is instrumental in the success of establishing standards. Develop and maintain websites Assist in maintaining the Foundationrsquos multiple websites as well as the Universityrsquos alumnidonor online community. Design, develop, test, and maintain transactional web pages and parts within Blackbaud fundraising software products used by the University Advancement community. Assist in designing adaptive and reflexive web templates and pages for tablets and mobile devices using the Bootstrap CSS framework. Stay current with latest technologies and utilize industry best-practice web-based standards and techniques. Prepare design specificationsbusiness requirements documents. Develop SQL to be used for querying data and analyzing web content. Support custom applications Provide program support for Blackbaud fundraising software products and incorporate new functionality based upon end-user requirements. Serve as subject matter expert providing support and training to other web support staff within the Direct Support Organizations. Protect confidential information. Assist with data infrastructure Coordinate application upgrades between vendor, IT team, and the Direct Support Organizations web user group. Support Foundationrsquos SharePoint portal implementation. Implement best-practice security measures across applications to protect and prevent against application vulnerabilities, hackers and intruders. Coordinate system upgrades. Assist team manager as needed. Other duties as required. Qualifications Bachelorrsquos degree in Informatics, Computer Science, or related field and two years of web design and development experience or a high school diplomaequivalent and six years of experience in the same. (Note post-high school education can substitute for experience at the equivalent rate.) Strong aptitude for diagnosing end user problems, and identifying and implementing solutions. Experience with HTML, XHTML, CSS, JavaScript, andor jQuery. Knowledge of web site design for tablet and mobile devices. Intermediate SQL scripting (T-SQL) or equivalent technology capabilities. Experience with Microsoft Visual Studio or equivalent technology. Preferred Degree preferred. Strong SQL programming or similar query language. Experience gathering business requirements for web design. Knowledge of Blackbaud Internet Solutions (BBIS) or Drupal CMS. Experience with Microsoft SharePoint 2007 or higher. Pay Plan This is an AP (Administrative and Professional) position. Schedule If not otherwise specified, schedule is M-F, 8-5.
