Overview / Responsibilities • Leads multiple project teams across simultaneous assignments • Manages the quality, timeliness and financial aspects of projects • Supervises and mentors engineers and technicians • Partners with senior staff in maintaining and developing client relationships • Leads, manages the preparing of reports in support of construction projects. • Manages EPC Contracts. • Manage and monitor construction activities for multiple project sites. • Ensure that the site construction activities adhere to established construction protocols. • Lead coordination and support of internal project financing and accounting efforts. • Understand, meet, and/or manage client expectations, and review deliverables prior to submittal to ensure client expectations are met. • Manage the construction contracts and interface with the Site Manager and BOP contractor. • Lead weekly / monthly progress meetings with the internal teams • Review weekly reports submitted by the Site Manager on construction status, schedule, and cost controls. • Provide guidance and support during all construction phases as need. • Manage and approve invoices and costs incurred under all project contracts as required by approval levels. • Oversee the review and approval process of engineering designs. • Review and provide recommendations to the site manager on change orders. • Assist in the resolution of design issues and contract enforcement. • Attend monthly meetings at the project site. • Coordinate final service acceptance inspections, punch list close out, and transition the project to Operations and Maintenance (O&M). • Conduct Lessons Learned meeting and provide report to the construction group at the conclusion of the project. Qualifications Skills / Qualifications A minimum of 3-5 years of experience with managing energy projects in the wind industry.
