Duties Summary The USPS OIG is seeking a highly qualified applicant to fill our Auditor - Human Resources and Support position in the OA Human Resources and Support directorate located in Bethesda, Maryland. The Human Resources and Support Services Directorate conducts audits of Postal Service Human Resources activities. The successful candidate must be highly motivated and
demonstrate experience and skill in auditing or human resources. Postal Service specialized experience in human resources management can be substituted for one year of audit experience. Additional experience can result in eligibility at higher levels. DESIRABLE QUALIFICATIONS • Advanced degree in a Business related field • Experience with conducting human resources management audits. • Professional certification(s), i.e.: CPA, CIA, FSCM, CPIM, CFCM, CPCM, etc. • Experience in TeamMate Education Education must be accredited by an institution recognized by the U.S. Department of Education. Additional information The USPS OIG uses a Pay Banding system, which is equivalent to the Federal GS scale. Grade and salary determinations will be made based upon a candidate's education and professional experience. This position is being advertised at the Journey Band level, equivalent to a GS-7 - GS-12. The salary range for this position is $35,854.00 - $82,680.00. The salary figures do not include locality pay. There is promotion potential to a GS-13 equivalent.
