The incumbent serves as the primary District Program Coordinator (A/OPC) implementing all responsibilities of the Government purchase card program. The selectee will be responsible for entering financial data into the Federal financial system., perform acquisitions for micropurchases, including supplies and services, according to Simplified Acquisition processes within purchase card authority and provide support to Acquisition processes and public contact. Physical Demands: The work is mostly sedentary with minimal physical demands. There is some walking,standing, bending and regular carrying of light items such as papers, books, files and computer printouts. The nature of the work requires the incumbent to sit for long periods of time at a computer terminal, and involves long periods of intense concentration. Incumbent must cope withfixed and variable deadlines, pressures of heavy work volumes, and both internal and external customer demands. High stress is common.
