The BSC Endoscopy Business Development Manager is a highly-esteemed position within the Endoscopy selling organization. This role requires a highly collaborative mindset to consistently deliver customer value and meeting organizational requirements. Individuals will exhibit strong sales performance, clinical excellence and the ability to develop key relationships. This person will be responsible for driving sales revenue to exceed division priorities, define and develop new business opportunities that clearly reflect the company's vision and priorities as well as contribute to overall team success. Additionally, he/she will have experience and be comfortable in the Endoscopy setting and he/she will manage their position with integrity and in accordance with our Code of Conduct. Duties and Responsibilities include but are not limited to: Sales and Sales Collaboration with Divisional (or National and International if necessary) GI Team Members to determine targets and opportunities in need of this Divisional resource Establish vertical relationships within designated IDN's for contract and clinical execution. Coordination of strategic and proprietary technology installation within the assigned IDN's. Delivering Value beyond economic strategies during the life of the contract Assist in implementing new contracts on a Divisional basis. Communication and collaboration with key BSC Stakeholders DOS, DNA, RM, and TM. Assist in development of customized value propositions to match the IDN and the market. Identify key accounts, health care professionals, and business issues that have the greatest effect on use of these Franchises by meeting with existing and potential customers. Classify their clinical needs, goals, and constraints related to patient care, facility efficiencies, & cost containment (where applicable). Determine where our solutions can assist in providing a meaningful healthcare solution. Identify user trends (as well as from our FSO) within the Division and maximize use of collected data to establish strategies best suited for the different geographies in the Division. Identify key referral networks for GI Products, Capital/Exalt, and Scope Solutions Franchises, i.e. Consultants, Infection Prevention Bloggers and Social Media outlets, Equipment Leasing Co.'s, etc. Develop and enhance these relationships through awareness activities, routine customer visits, product demonstrations, educational programs, procedural observation, trade show participation and problem resolution, as well as leveraging key referral sites. Develop relationships with administrative hospital employees and service line managers (e.g. casual conversation, meetings, participation in conferences) to gain knowledge on unique facility business dynamics and to identify key decision makers. Educate physicians and AHPs on the merits, proper implementation, and overall value proposition by giving presentations and demonstrations. Work closely with the Sales Management team in evaluating business conditions (This is key as we grow each of these franchises and currently this is largely being missed or misunderstood) Identify creative sources of information that can help inform our strategic business plans. My vast network within each of these franchises will contribute tremendously (See referral network bullet above where this also applies) Prepare and submit reports to Sales Management by analyzing and compiling data, projections, and other relevant information. Executes sales targets and contribute to the achievement sales goals of the Division. Identifies sales forecast gaps, submits corrective strategies and implements aggressive sales growth Identifies and develops working relationships with the economic buyer in the division's key account(s). Maintains knowledge of the industry and the competition, continually seeking information from physicians, economic buyer and others to challenge, modify and prioritize strategies. Prepares the team to counter the competition Supports specific Marketing initiatives through cross-functional collaboration and execution. Spends a minimum of 70% time in the field to develop and maintain strong relationships and understand the customer, as well as our FSO. Ensures the effective implementation of representative customer records, key contacts, reports and company policies. Plans and controls expenses to ensure sales objectives are met within budget Attend and participate in customer, company and industry sponsored forums and courses. Develop and maintain relationships with key BSC functional areas. Ensure applicable BSC SOP's are understood and implemented - i.e. audits.
