Join us.As a Senior Product Marketing Manager, you will be responsible for managing the overall go-to market strategies and activities for the Commercial Display product category in the Samsung Enterprise Business Division. You will be responsible for the product management and planning of Samsung’s commercial Display portfolio; focusing on commercial & vertical sales/marketing of LCD Displays. This position will define market segments, specify products to meet the demands of selected markets and work with sales, marcom, and channel marketing teams to ensure the product is priced, promoted and advertised effectively. This position will also define future market opportunities and work with HQ Visual Display Division (Korea) to develop appropriate future products and solutions. The position will be responsible for the launch and life-cycle maintenance of products and act as the primary interface to sales teams to respond to customer needs. Role and Responsibilities • Product Planning and Product Management. • Product line P&L management • Market sensing and Competitive Tracking/Benchmarking • Develops and manages new product launch process, marketing strategies, market research, product requirements, definition of marketing mix, and the establishment of the pricing forecast for sales in close cooperation with Samsung’s marketing and sales units • Develops and executes the annual marketing plan/budget including all marketing communication activities; coordinates and supports local sales & marketing activities, and achieves revenue goals of assigned products/ product line • Work closely with R&D to ensure successful product lifecycle management; travels with the sales team to visit key customers and/or support tradeshow events (~20% travel) • Define products based on target market segments. • Determine price positioning and strategy. Develop market requirements for target segments and work with HQ Visual Display Division to develop appropriate solutions. Determine menu of programs and incentives to ensure product set maintains appropriate market share targets. Guides Marcom team on sales collateral development, tradeshows and PR events • Define competitor models and action plans against those specified models. Review competitor price moves and channel strategy to determine appropriate Samsung positioning • Accurately establishes the pricing forecast for sales in close cooperation with Samsung’s marketing unit • Forecasting - You will become an expert at collaborative forecasting by fully understanding the input from the Sales team and future market conditions. You will contribute to weekly unit forecasts (AP2) based on analysis of channel inventory, sell-through history, future promotions, competitive activity, and seasonality by model and by key account. In order to do this, you will work closely with Sales Operations staff, assisting in weekly sales forecast and product allocations. Skills and Qualifications • Demonstrated ability to interact with all levels within the SEA organization and within customer organizations. • Bachelor’s degree or higher in marketing, business, communications, engineering or technology • Minimum of 12 years professional B2B or B2C product management experience • Solid experience with forecasting and tracking revenue • Experience working with Channel Partners and resellers to drive product sales strategies. • Strong organizational skills with the ability to work on multiple projects at the same time, and skilled in working cross-functionally • Skilled in planning, quality focus, customer service, managing processes and strong presentation skills required • The ability to convince others, in a potentially adversarial environment, including customer leadership, VP's, Directors & Managers, staff, and vendors with opposing views to accept/approve plans, technical, and project recommendations. • Work under very little supervision and guidance and to complete individual work assignments within established time frames. • Demonstrated ability to solve problems involving highly diverse conditions requiring creativity to search for solutions.
