JOB OVERVIEW: Rocket is hiring for a channel Sales professional based in LA, Denver, or Dallas who has consistently exceeded quota by managing a variety of channel partners. This individual will need experience and understanding of how to deal with Fulfillment, SI, MSP, Outsourcer, ISV and Reseller partners and what makes each unique. They will need to have outstanding communication skills and
focus on what drives a mutually beneficial partner relationship. Travel requirement should be ~25% of the time. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: • Overachieve against a set of pre-agreed sales targets and KPI’s on a monthly /quarterly/annual basis • Develop a cohesive business plan for partners and execute effectively against that plan • Work with Rockets existing Partners (Fulfillment, SI, MSP, Outsourcer, ISV and Resellers to grow existing revenue • Recruit new partners to Rocket to grow the regional brand and revenue in Western U.S. and Western Canada • Work as part of the local, and broader global, sales team to execute sales plays • Facilitate technical training and Partner enablement • Drive partner marketing and support the execution of campaigns with the local and global marketing teams • Build and maintain relationships with your partner community • Coordinate and attend quarterly business reviews Required Skills REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS: • Minimum of 5+ years’ experience in a Channel/Partner Sales role • Demonstrated knowledge of your own Channel network • Experience in working with a range of partners – Fulfillment, SI, MSP, Outsourcer, ISV and Resellers • Experience with Modernization solutions a strong preference but not a requirement • Experience working with/for an IBM Reseller a preference but not a requirement • ADDITIONAL PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: • High energy yet polished and composed • Outstanding communication skills • Effective in a dynamic environment and willing to take calculated risks • Ability to work with multiple demanding partners • Good at influencing others both internally and externally in order to achieve goals • Ambitious, commercially astute and self-motivated • A demonstrated track record of achievement and being a top performer • Highest level of sales ethics • Experience of developing and managing TM1 partners would be an advantage ROLE-BASED COMPETENCIES: • Collaboration and Teamwork • Continuous Learning • Customer Focus • Initiative • Judgment • Quality • Value Based Performance Rocket Software Inc. is committed to creating a diverse environment and is proud to be an equal opportunity employer.
