goal of UNICEFrsquos ICT Division (ICTD) is to transform and build partnerships with our stakeholders to successfully implement UNICEF programmes globally through the use of innovative technology-enabled solutions. The Supporter Engagement Strategy (SES) is a mechanism to deliver UNICEFrsquos Strategic Plan 2 and the foundation for reaching the 2030 Sustainable Development Goals. SES will enable UNICEF to win support for the cause of children from decision makers and the wider public, making UNICEF an even stronger advocacy, fundraising, and communication force for children. It is a united effort of the Private Fundraising and Partnerships Division, Division of Communication, Information and Communication Technology Division, and Global Volunteer Office with National Committees and Regional and Country Offices. How can you make a difference? Under the supervision of the Senior ICT Sr. Business Relationship Manager, the incumbent will provide insight into and support to the establishment and delivery of the technological system and platform, including CRM (Customer Relationship Management), for Supporter Engagement Strategy. This role will directly contribute to the success of digital platform and systems in pursuit of the organizationrsquos goal to reach 100 million supporters through the Supporter Engagement Strategy. Specific deliverables of this job will contribute to the success of the next generation of UNICEF fundraising, advocacy, and volunteering system, and in collaboration with markets and HQ divisions ensure that these systems are both fit for purpose and optimized. This Temporary Appointment will be for a period of 364 days. Summary of key functionsaccountabilities Planning, Business Requirements and Platform Development Maintain and update planning tools and assessments to support technical design, business requirements gathering and the implementation of the next generation UNICEF fundraising, advocacy, and volunteering system for UNICEF including CRM in response to business needs from markets and HQ divisions. Support planning, development, testing, and global roll out of the Supporter Engagement Strategy mobilization and engagement platform. Draft documents as required, consult with andor coordinate input from relevant Divisions as necessary to support effective integration of these platforms with other UNICEF enterprise systems. Business Intelligence In close collaboration with Sr. Business Relationship Manager, contribute to UNICEFrsquos work on digital attribution, dashboarding and benchmarking to ensure that the utilization of investment and reporting of results is accurate and strategic. Assist in tracking the global developments in digital fundraising, advocacy, volunteering and engagement platforms across the sector, and beyond. Innovation and entrepreneurship Conduct research, document, and contribute to identifying opportunities to bring innovative technology to the existing systems and platforms, and assist in developing business cases or business plans for doing so. Support monitoring and evaluation of new technologies and software for potential tests and adoption by UNICEF. Support manager in identification of synergies between technologies and platforms to drive added value. To qualify as a champion for every child you will havehellip An advanced university degree in management information systems, computer science, business administration, information technology management or other related social science field. A combination of a first university degree combined with two additional years of relevant professional experience may be substituted for the advanced university degree. A minimum of 5 years of professional experience in providing technology-based business solutions in a large international organization andor corporation is preferred, as elaborated below WebMobile solutions, Data management and Business intelligence solutions Customer relationship management solutions Agile project management, Customer Relationship Management (CRM), Front end transactional platforms, Non-Profit or commercial marketing. Experience in the UN system is an asset. Fluency in English is required. Knowledge of another official UN language (Arabic, Chinese, French, Russian or Spanish) is an asset.
