To learn more, visit www.knoll.com POSITION PROFILE The Financial Analyst will report directly to Knoll's Logistics Director. This position is primarily responsible for providing analysis of Transportation and Mixing Center costs to provide additional management and financial controls to the business. Additional responsibilities will include add hoc analysis to create and improve the transportation cost forecasting process, tying forecasts to actual costs and uncovering business changes and the impact totransportation costs. Additionally, this role will provide input and analytics into the identification of business improvements across the Logistics function. Job Responsibilities • Analyze information from several systems to provide recommendations to improve and correct findings. • Design and enforce processes, procedures, and internal controls related to Logistics and Operations. • Implement dashboard, KPI and or reporting processes. • Perform financial modeling, financial analysis and valuation in per data analysis. • Develop dynamic models to track spending in the Supply Chain area. • Support and monitor performance indicators, highlighting trends and analyzing causes of unexpected variance to achieve financial and non-financial goals for the Office Segment. • Drive continuous improvement in reports, process and procedures by establishing and maintaining high quality assurance standards and timeliness of the internal financial reporting. • Perform research and analysis projects on an ad-hoc basis as needed. • Comply with internal audit controls and policies. Required Skills • High level of interpersonal, written, verbal communication skills. • Strong skills to prioritize and handle multiple tasks. • Ability to work cross functionally in order to achieve desired results. • Excellent problem solving and analytical skills. • Maintain a high level of confidentiality and professional skepticism. • Expert level of competency in Microsoft Excel, database and query skills. Knowledge of JDE and SAP/Oracle is a plus. • Ideal candidate will have a desire and willingness and ability to grow beyond the advertised role, and at the appropriate time move to another role within finance or the broader Knoll organization. Required Experience • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting or a related field. CPA or MBA is a plus. • Minimum of five to seven years of progressive Finance and Business process optimization experience in an organization of similar scale and complexity. Experience in Manufacturing is a plus
