Full-Time - The work schedule for this position is mixed-tour. With a mixed-tour work schedule, an employee may be changed between full-time, part-time, and intermittent work schedules to accommodate fluctuating workloads and is subject to a signed agreement. Location FEW vacancies in the following location: Toms River, NJ Relocation expenses reimbursed No Telework eligible No Duties Summary Duty Station: Initially will be the selectee's home address (Work At Home position) until the opening of the Area Census Office(s) (ACO) in Toms River, NJ. At that time the employee will be required to report to the ACO as their regular place of work. In order to be considered, all applicants must reside in one of the following New Jersey counties: Monmouth, Burlington, or Ocean county. Relocation will not be paid. Learn more about this agency Responsibilities The individual selected for this position will: Supervise and manage a decentralized workforce in various geographic locations. Lead a team to ensure staffing needs are met and represent all geographic locations. Develop and maintain good working relationships with local news media, community leaders, organizations, and local government officials, to promote community cooperation and generate support for recruitment efforts. Maintain relationships with organizations that refer applicants and other employment sources. Recruit and train recruiting assistants, office operations supervisors, and office clerks. Develop and implement a recruiting campaign, monitor recruitment results to ensure large volumes of applicants apply within a specific geographic location. Travel Required 50% or less - Position requires 25% local travel and 25 % overnight travel. Experience communicating with internal management, training individuals, and groups on recruiting techniques and strategies for hard-to-recruit locations. Experience implementing and monitoring a recruitment campaign to ensure large volumes of applicants apply within a specific geographic location. OR EDUCATION: Bachelor's Degree in any area with Superior Academic Achievement OR one full year of graduate education directly related to the position.
