This announcement provides the opportunity for a reassignment/promotion to the position of Audit Manager or Audit Evaluator Manager position in the Delivery & Retail or Transportation directorates located in Arlington, VA. Responsibilities The candidate will provide a full range of supervision to staff and manage other related projects as assigned. Candidates will be evaluated on the skills that they possess that are directly related to the duties of the position and the experience, education and training that indicate the applicant's ability to acquire the particular knowledge and skills needed to perform the duties of the position. This position is being advertised at the Manager Band level, equivalent to a GS-14.The salary range for this position is $95,621.00 - $122,810.00. The salary figures does not include locality pay. Reviews and approves the objective, scope, and methodology of each project • Manages audit projects to ensure that professional standards are maintained in the planning, fieldwork, and reporting phases and in the accumulation of evidentiary data that is technically sound and meet OIG and professional standards • Provides technical expertise, support and guidance to auditors on administrative activities • Prepares various reports, correspondence, and briefings • Presents oral briefings to management • Manage auditors responsible for accumulating data, maintaining records, and preparing periodic reports to Congress and senior management on audit activities Travel Required 50% or less - You may be expected to travel for this position. Postal Service specialized experience in delivery and retail or transportation program management can be substituted for one to four years of audit experience DESIRABLE QUALIFICATIONS • Bachelor's degree in accounting or any other degree that includes 24 semester hours in accounting • Advanced Degree in a Business related field • Experience with conducting contract, contract fraud, or supply management audits. • Professional certification(s), i.e.: CPA, CIA, CFE, FSCM, CPIM, FSCM, CFCM, CPCM etc. • Experience in TeamMate EVALUATION FACTORS You must have the experience, knowledge and skills as listed in EACH of the evaluation factors.
