RECRUITER: Dylinda BadiqueAs a Senior Research Associate Analyst, you will be responsible for providing equity research coverage across oil and gas industry, including forecasting and reporting underlying drivers and future trends. You will be developing detailed commodity supply and demand models, tracking global waterborne oil flows, calculating refining margins, and data-mining energy
statistics from government and industry sources. You will also be performing industry and company analysis and financial modelling, participating financial modeling of energy equities, performing financial data analysis, writing equity research reports, and reviewing and writing commentary. You will be participating in broader industry and corporate events as well as liaising with research and sales teams globally. You are expected to deliver findings to internal clients and more broadly to sector professionals and representing Macquarie at industry-related forums.You are required to have obtained a Bachelor s degree in Business Administration or related field (Accounting, Economics, or Finance) plus 5 years of experience in job offered or 5 years of quantitative financial and risk analysis experience in energy industry. Your prior experience must include 3 years performing financial statement analysis, 3 years performing financial analysis and modeling, 3 years performing valuation analysis and 3 years performing fundamental sector and commodity research and analysis.
